It would be so kewl to have my own diner as much as I love to cook! Oh my gosh my pulled pork turned out so awesome! Here is the pretty platter of it with onions!This is what our dinner plate looked like tonight! Yuuuuuummmmmmmm! 🙂I love old recipes and all things retro and antique! Maybe it is because I am becoming an antique! tee hee!!!!! I think as we get older we become more nostalgic! Well I made this cherry bread recipe today! They turned out so beautiful!!!!! They taste good but I think it is something of an acquired taste. One of those recipes that kind of has to grow on you!

Next time I am going to try it with either strawberries or blueberries!

In my kitchen I use my C.A.Y.G. rule! I always Clean As You Go so I am not overwhelmed with the clean up!

I used to entertain a lot more when I was in my younger years, I am finding that it is harder and harder to stand in the kitchen and do all that anymore cuz of some health stuff I have to deal with.

My Grandma loved cooking elaborate meals and entertaining and she did it almost to the end of her life. I don’t know how she did it! She was a wonderful cook. She didn’t teach me how to cook as she hated anyone messing in her kitchen but I think she passed the good luck torch on to me as everyone likes what I cook or bake and I feel blessed!
