The sun is starting to set and it was making this little tree look like it is on fire!
Sis Andi gave me this beautiful goose! It had belonged to her mom! It is Capo-di-Monte porcelain. Capo-di-Monte porcelain was first made in Naples, Italy from 1743 to 1759. The factory moved to Madrid Spain and reopened in 1771 and worked to 1821.
The Ginori factory of Doccia, Italy acquired the molds and began using the crown and N mark. Unfortunately the company went into bankruptcy in 2013.
I am proud to have this piece. It is special because Andi gave it to me! I had a blast doing some research into the company who made this porcelain!!!
It looks beautiful on my crochet hot pad that I made!
Have a great evening! Hugz Blondie and Boo Bear

That little tree is beautiful in the setting sun. Beautiful goose.
Is that burning tree from my yard, again? Can’t be certain, but the dogwood and roof line for the garage make it look like my ol’ place. Beautiful.
Glad you like that figurine. Looks great on your doily! Nice background work, also. Maybe the piece will become a collectible now that the company shut down… 🙂
Yup it’s from your old place! I love that little tree! Fire-eeeee leaves!
