On Sunday’s I always like to cook something that will last us through the week or most of it!
I made home made chicken soup, Here it is on the stove ready to simmer most of the day!
Here is my Chicken all ready to be roasted, both meals are all done now and we have yummy goodness for the week!

I need to make chicken noodle soup. That sounds awesome. I had trouble in the past with adding the noodles to it and then storing it. They became super “swollen” with the broth and the soup turned into more of a stew/casserole because it soaked up all of the liquid! What do you do to combat this problem?
I put my noodles in last but I have the same problem the next day, I put the soup back in a pan and add more chicken stock or water and heat it up again to give it more liquid
I have heard some people they add noodles one bowl at a time but then you can’t cook them in the broth so I don’t know if I like that idea either. Hmmm..
I would much rather add more liquid to the whole soup
I think I might try spaghetti size noodles and see how that does
