Multnomah County Library

MultnomahCountyLibraryMultnomahCountyLibrary 2I love this beautiful building. I want to fulfill my small bucket list and go in and see it sometime  on the inside. I don’t usually get downtown for pleasure so it is a dream to see it. This central library serves ad the main branch of the library system in Portland. The building was designed by architect A.E. Doyle and opened on September 6, 1913. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Wikepedia says it contains 17 miles of bookshelf space! Wow talk about book heaven! I adore books!!!!!
