On Bear’s and my adventure the other morning I stopped to take the photo of a sign that has been in our city skyline since 1940. Over the years it has displayed different words over the years. The longest one being White Stag which was displayed from 1959 to 1997. The City of Portland acquired the sign in 2010 and changed the lettering to Portland Oregon. I love how they turn it into Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer at Christmastime!
