The builder of my house put in very cheap cheap cheap venetian blinds and they don’t close really enough to provide complete privacy. Plus I wanted something to help keep my kitchen cooler in the summer. I bought these black out curtains that were very inexpensive but look elegant! I was nervous about hanging curtain rods, but I got to it and yay! My project is complete!

Tomorrow I have to shorten the panels that will go over my kitchen sink windows.
