Vacation Is Over, Got A Lot Done!

My extended vacation is over and it is back to work tomorrow. I made this vacation a very productive one! I painted my hallway, then went through my whole house and got rid of a bunch of stuff for goodwill! I made my limoncello, finished crocheting the minion for someone special. Today I made rice and home made Mac and cheese for the freezer and for this weeks meals!

It feels so good to get my house in order! It feels so much better! Each vacation another project will get done around here!

Wednesday Smiles….

I came home and put my spiral ham in my roaster. I put the leftover bone that still has a lot of meat on it in the freezer to use to flavor soup! Garfield is this weeks bus pet to bring smiles to people!

Crock Pot Chicken

I have never cooked a whole chicken in my crock pot and wanted to try it! My house smells so good! It has about another hour to go and I will check the temperature with the thermometer.

Saturday Cooking…

This morning I made taco meat with my own home made taco seasoning. I put top round cut up in the crock pot. It got broiled yesterday for flavor and it is making a nice cheat stroganoff in the crock pot. All it is: cream of mushroom soup, the meat and some elbow macaroni. Next I just peeled and cored apples and making home made applesauce!

Sunday Smiles Friends! Simple Meal, Day with My Furkid

I hope that you are all staying healthy and happy! Today was a day of chores of course. Time spent with my little girl Gizmo. I made a very simple dinner, what I call a “Make from what you have” type of meal!

I did a sautés of onion, celery and bell pepper. Also sautés of broccoli and asparagus til tender. Added that to the veggies and made a home made cheese sauce to make a casserole basically! Was simple, used up ingredients and made for a very tasty meal!
