Dutch Baby Breakfast!
One of my favorite childhood memories is when my Grandma would make us Dutch Babies or German Pancakes for breakfast! I have always wanted to try making myself, so this morning I did just that!
I didn’t have lemon juice, we used to top it with lemon juice and powdered sugar. I decided to top mine with my own home made berry compote! Wow it was fun to make and delicious!

Do you want a great book idea to read? Try this awesome mystery/drama by Amy Meyerson! I started and finished the whole book today! I could not put it down! It felt good to read! This has been my second novel I have recently read.
Between crafting and watching my favorite shows I had not read in a while.

Grateful American Awesome Read!
I just finished reading Grateful American by Gary Sinise! I could not put it down! He makes you chuckle, he makes you cry! He is my favorite actor and I love how much he does to support and honor our troops! This is an awesome book!

Bear Family for My Friends!
I made bears for my friends kids in their favorite colors. So for their mom I used the colors of her kids bears to make for her! For her husband I made this camouflage bear to honor his years of service to our country! He served several years in the United States Air Force and is currently serving in the Air National Guard! I know these will bring great joy to them and I can’t wait for them to get their presents!

This Mornings Joyous Cooking Deliciousness
For this mornings breakfast I had baked salmon and potato hash. Then I slow cooked a roast with potatoes and carrots and onions most of the day. I made gravy from the broth! Some very tasty meals for this week!

Sunday, Fun Day, Cooking & Crochet
Today is a beautiful sunny day. This morning I baked white bread, for lunch I made rib eyes and long grain rice spruced up with sauteed onion and colorful peppers. What is nice is the steaks last me a few days meals! I made two large rib eyes! Gizmo approved too!
Now to relax and crochet and watch one of my favorite shows!

I Think Our Winter Is Here….Brrrrrr
Our mornings are super cold so I think we are skipping fall and jumping right in to winter. This afternoon however the sun in incredible so Gizmo and I sat outside and soaked up the warmth! I sure hope we are lucky with a mild winter! I know we have no complaining to be doing as other states have bad winters!

Vacation Is Over….Boo Hoo!
My last hurrah today was to make home made nachos. They are very tasty. I used a quick recipe. Next time I will do a little bit fancier but this was good! Gizmo is a happy little girl! She was smiling for belly rubs! I watched quite a few movies this week and crocheted!
Back to work tomorrow! Boo Hoo!
