This is an old school. I found some history on it and had a hard time at that. I will study more on it later but think I found a date of 1908 on it being built!
It is fun researching places that are in my area! I love old buildings!

On my way home I stopped and took some daylight photos of the historic Johan and Dora Poulsen house that has been around since the 1890’s!

This home is fantastic and I would love to see the inside of it! I bet the owners are so used to people like me wanting to photograph it! The lady was heading out to walk her huge dog and waved at me! I told her her home was absolutely beautiful!

I cooked the pancetta till crispy, then removed from the pan. Prepare 3 or 4 carrots, medium onion and 3 shallots. Salt, pepper and flour the short ribs.
Put olive oil in the pan with the grease from the pancetta, Brown the short ribs on high heat on all sides. Remove from pan and throw in the carrots, onion and shallots and cook on medium heat for about 3 minutes. Add 2 cups chicken broth or wine and deglaze the pan with the goodness.
Add the ribs, pour in 2 more cups chicken or beef broth. I used 2 cups chicken broth and 2 cups beef broth.
Cover the dutch oven with the lid and place in 350 deg oven and bake for 2 hours.
I removed the bones from the ribs, cook a package of egg noodles, pour all the juice goodness over the noodles and serve with whatever other sides you want!
Wow this turned out so good!
P.S. I forgot to say that I added the cooked pancetta in the dish too for superb flavoring! I had to take a small taste of it first, oh my gosh pancetta is so good!!!

I worked ten hours today on my regular day off, no sooner do I get back to my car to drive home, there is a message on my phone.
The evening fellow in charge of managing operator work assignments leaves a message on my phone…..
“Hi Lisa, this is Allan, we have some afternoon RDO (Regular Day Off) work available if you are interested”
I wanted to call back and say, uh did you not see that I already put in ten hours today? Helllllllloooooo! But no, I was a good girl and just ignored the message! I’m too old to be putting in double shifts!! Tee Hee
Now it’s time to go drink some coffee and then walk my precious dog!

Hubby and I will celebrate ours tomorrow as I am going in to work. It is very rare that I work on my days off but once in a while one can’t resist!
Sometimes the sky graces us with such awesome beauty, like this gorgeous sunrise!
Enjoying nature’s little green beauty, moss hugging the rocks, all lush and green! Not letting go, holding fast and mean! Soft little mounds, sitting proud, covering the rocks with its little green tuft mounds!
Have a wonderful weekend!
