Years ago my friends dubbed me as Blondie as a term of endearment. Believe me it’s a much earned title!

Today is an example of my nickname…

I got a new Droid phone and Friday I had taken a pic with my new phone and I told my husband it was fuzzy like.

Well he looked at my phone and he said, well honey you have to take off the plastic cover sheet off the lens!

Well, duh, no wonder my pic didn’t turn out!! We laugh around here all the time at my silliness!!

Ya just have too cuz it’s better than crying!! Tee hee

More Spring Fun……

IMG_0687Bear and I went for our afternoon walk and I saw this beautiful white lilac. Awesome! IMG_0688There is one house that we always pass and every year she has these gorgeous huge poppies in bloom. They look so delicate and vibrant.IMG_0689Beautiful big willow tree! IMG_0690The house that has the willow tree has this beautiful Whisteria! It is so fragrant too! I wished I had one growing on my fence!

Yummy Soup!!

I love taking soups in my lunch because it keeps me away from so much bread with sandwiches.

I love making soups the way I do cuz I don’t use recipes. My very dear friend whom I adopted as a grandma taught me that!

I used my own chicken stock so this soup is sooo good!

Sunday Lovin’ Flower Smiles…….

IMG_0680IMG_0681Baby Boy Bear and I were on our walk and saw these cute little beauty poppies in someone’s yard. They look like cute little buttercups! I love the color too a lot! IMG_0682IMG_0683This families tree is sooo pretty! I keep trying to capture it on our walks to get the maximum best pic of it before the blooms go bye bye! IMG_0685I love the color of this dogwood that we walk by too. Vibrant color!IMG_0686I think this is a hazelnut tree bloom, Bear and I see the nuts during the winter or fall, I can’t remember which but we always enjoy looking at the nuts too! You might say I am NUTS for flowers! tee hee!

Weekend Happenings at My House…

We got yard work done, our shade put up which helps keep our sunny side of our home cooler in summer. Weeds sprayed.

This morning grocery shopping done with some awesome savings.

I just put this pie in the oven for my hubby. He loves cherry pies a lot!!

I have a pot of beans on the stove for my work week lunches.

Hmmm then I get to crochet! Yay!!!

We also got our prescriptions forms all filled out to send to our insurance to get money back.

Celebrity Sadness….Loss of Great People!

It is so sad to hear that these people have died. It’s wonderful how they have touched so many many lives with their dedication in the entertainment business.

I grew up enjoying country music with my grandfather and loved the same stars that he did! Mr. Jones being one of them.

I am fond of Annette Funicello too! I am so happy that I have one of her bears in my collection.

I am Greatful that they got to touch our lives!
Rest in peace!
