I just finished the 2004 movie production Phantom of the Opera. I also saw the live production a few times when it was performed in my city.

What a fantastic production! It still makes me cry! I love all of the music in it and have the sound track too!!

Be sure to see it if you have not! It is about a disfigured music genius, hidden away in a Paris Opera House, terrorizes the opera company for the unwitting benefit of a young protégée whom he trains and loves.

I could watch this production over and over again!! I wished I could sing cuz I would belt out the songs too if I could!!

  1. This is one of those stories that survives time so well. At its core, it’s a plot that still can play out, isn’t it? Thank you for the reminder – it’s been too long since I’ve seen it.
