Bear’s Dr. Called and told me his Platelets are a little on the low side. She is going to do a complete CBC on him to see what is going on. Depending on the results they may do what is called a tick panel on him to keep him safe from possible tick bites.
He has to lose about 15 pounds because of his signs of having some hip problems. Then she will re evaluate him and see if he needs any medicine for that. He’s getting x-rays done too.
My poor Boo Bear!! I will update when we get his blood work results back which I know won’t be today.

Blondie, my son’s dog is around 6 years old (see pictures on FB earlier this week) and he had to lose a lot of weight, too, but now he is doing a lot better and is much healthier. So it works! I am sure Bear will be much more comfortable after doing the same! Best of luck to him! He has a good mommy to take care of him! 🙂
