Its sunny and pretty outside. I did a half hour work out on the treadmill, walked my dog, went grocery shopping and came home and cooked!
I have a roast with potatoes, carrots, onions in the crock pot!
On the stove I have my Cabbage Soup Slumgullion cooking! It is for my work week lunches!
I have cabbage, carrots, celery, bell peppers, parsnips, potatoes, stew meat, kale, onions and it is going to be so good for my work week lunches! I have a big thermos so I can’t wait to eat it this week!
We are trying to make healthier choices on food!
I have some yard work to do and I think I will get that done today so this evening and tomorrow I can just relax and crochet and watch Sherlock or Murder She Wrote!

Yay for healthier food choices! About 2 years ago I started writing down the amount of meat and sugar we buy whenever we did grocery shopping. Hubby’s doctor said he had to cut down on both, and it surprised me just how much of the stuff we ate. Now we’re down to meat every once in a while since we eat more legumes, fruit, veggies, and fish. It has made such a difference in our health!
I shall try more legumes and fish too! I keep forgetting about them! I love fish! Hugz Lisa
