My red and white doily is turning out nicely!

Early this morning I took Bear and went to the store to do shopping for our groceries. I was walking towards the entrance and say my favorite checker outside yelling at some one. A young guy was running from the store pushing a shopping cart. She said that the guy just stole a whole cart full of items.

Employees are not allowed to chase after people, but another customer did, he chased after the kid and I called 911 and gave them  the particulars and the description.

A deputy showed up and I met him with the details and he said he would talk to the other customer and they would get the store video etc. The man that chased after the guy didn’t catch him but he brought back the shopping cart full of stuff as the kid abandoned it as I am sure he was scared.

I continued with my shopping and as I was leaving, my favorite checker thanked me so much for helping!

Just a reminder to all the ladies out there, remember to hold on to your purses as you shop!  Don’t leave them in your carts as it only takes one second of looking or picking up an item off the shelf and some one can snatch it out of your carts!

Even though I played a very small part in helping Fred Meyer it sure felt good to be a good samaritan as I know the gentlemen customer felt the same way too! It was our small way of being angels for the day!
