Pressure Cooker Serves as Awesome Soup Pot

PressureCookerServesMondoSoupPot

I was in the mood for soup and of course I always make a huge amount! My pressure cooker serves as a wonderful soup pot!

Here is what went in:

1 head of cabbage
1 whole bunch of celery
2 turnips
2 whole onions
1 whole bunch of kale
a bunch of white potatoes
beef broth and water
2 cans of tomatoes
1 package Lipton Onion Soup Mix
Salt and Pepper to taste

Cook till tender and enjoy with some bread! Awesomeness!
Hubby is so good about enduring the smell, he doesn’t like kale or cabbage. Poor guy is sure missing out! tee hee! I am glad he is a good sport though and doesn’t mind me cooking my yummy foods that I like

I do too but the pressure cooker served well as a huge pot to cook it in. I didn’t use the pressure cooker part of it. Worked out well for needing a big pot
