I love this movie which was released on December 19, 1980 starring Neil Diamond (who is one of my favorite singers), the beautiful Lucy Arnaz, and the incredible Laurence Olivier!
Good movies like this stand the test of time!

Despite all the criticism from many film critics, I liked it. My dad was a huge Neil Diamond fan and I inherited his taste in music.
I try not to base my liking of a movie from film critics. I too love the film. Neil Diamond is a wonderful musician. I have loved him since I was a little girl. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

I loved this movie when I was a kid! My parents would play the soundtrack all the time and to this day I still love hearing Neil Diamond’s music.
