One of the yarns that I wanted to use was a little on the fine side so I combined it with another thicker yarn and it is creating a pretty variegated color fun!

Working on an afghan on a cold winter day is nice because as it grows it keeps your lap warm!

My kitchen is smelling good, I just boiled up a bunch of chicken breast to put in containers for future soups! A small roast with potatoes and carrots is in the crock pot too! Gearing up for menus for the week!

We are going to have home made taco salad today! Bear and I went on a very small walk but it was just too chilly! We were going to do our full loop but I saw a little dog that some one was walking and they didn’t have him on a leash. I didn’t want Bear to have to deal with that. The small dogs like to come up to Bear and try and take him on. Bear looks down at them and says what is that under my belly! tee hee
