Today I made Sis Tracy’s Portuguese Potato & Kale Soup! I am not a vegetarian but I have had some pretty fantastic meals at her house! This soup is a huge favorite!

I had two roast chicken carcasses with quite a bit of meat on them still and didn’t want to waste them! So I threw them in the crock pot this morning and they have been slow cooking all day! I will remove the bones and tomorrow all that goodness will be made into soup as well! This time of year soup is so good for the soul!

I didn’t really want to go out and mow today, but with the weather being nice I had to go and do it! Gizmo was enjoying the freshly mowed yard!
