Changes In the City….
There is construction going on near the Merlo platform. Hey they should put a sign up telling us what is going on!!!! tee hee! Just what are the busy bees up to???? One day the mystery will be solved!
I be they will be taking away the rails that our new trains used to be delivered to Elmonica Yard way back when!

Bear the train pet is bringing smiles to my passengers this week! Also check out the pigeon peeking at me. He was in the middle of the tracks but few up to the roof. He is probably saying: “Hey, get out of my way train”! tee hee

Blue Jay
This blue jay is resting on our tree! I love birds!
Unfortunately I have a migraine today, took my prescription meds for it early so I didn’t feel any pain. It is an optical migraine. The meds knock me on my tush making me sleepy so I think I will just be going to bed tonight earlier than usual hopefully kicking it before morning!

White Cargo by Felicity Kendal
I just finished the book White Cargo by Felicity Kendal! Wonderful book by one of my favorite actresses! She tells the story of her life in her Father’s beloved India, her complicated relationship with her father and her family. She goes from the past to the present and we learn about her acting career and how she worked to where she is today, becoming one of the most outstanding actresses!
I loved the quote in her book: “Your voice is your most precious instrument: the SOUND you make can move an audience to laugh or cry. So, put your shoulders back & FILL YOUR BELLY FULL OF AIR” That advice came from her father!
I came to really like her from the television series Rosemary & Thyme whom she acted with Pam Ferris.
It was a wonderful read and I loved reading about her life in India
Now off to go pick out another good read from my collection of books
