I just finished this bear for a friend at work who’s daughter broke her arm! I wanted to cheer her up! Turquoise is her favorite color!

Home Made French Bread
I didn’t have time to make bread recipes that require long rise time, so I made this quick French bread recipe! This is so good and would be perfect to have with soups!

Wool Crochet Bear Complete! I Named Him Pierre

Home Made Lentil Soup
I made a simple home made Lentil Soup today! Every time I make Lentils it brings back fond memories of my Adopted Grandma Mary friend who used to always feed me home made soups when I visited her. She taught me the gift of crochet and I am so grateful for her friendship. She has long since passed away.

Elmo the Hawk Baby!
I was leaving work and just outside the gate I saw this gorgeous Hawk Baby! Always my term of endearment for them! I named him Elmo because that is where I work! I love hawks! He sure made my day! I said Hi Hawk and he looked at me and I am sure he was thinking, “Keep driving lady, you are scaring away my mice dinner! tee hee

Today’s Cooking Star Fixings From My Kitchen
I am officially tired now! I pan fried some pork chops and slow cooked a chuck roast in the oven for this weeks meals. I didn’t have any potatoes or carrots on hand, I didn’t feel like going to the store either so I am making do with what I have at home! For dinner and put roast beef on bread for a sandwich with some mayo, ketchup and horse radish sauce and dipped it in the juice! Wow Yum!
For dessert I was in the mood for chocolate pudding and I make this from scratch! I made my late husband’s favorite beer bread!
Little Gizmo wanted to be in the kitchen with me!

Simple Kielbasa Dinner
I decided to go super simple for my dinner tonight, I made minute rice with kielbasa and Brussel sprouts for my easy meal! Had to take it easy today because my lower back decided to give me fits today!
