Crochet Bear Complete!
Healthy and Naughty Cooking! Tee Hee
I made home made cake donuts this morning, I didn’t have a donut cutter and used a biscuit cutter. No matter the shape they taste delicious.
I also put a Leek, Swiss chard and other veggies soup in my crock pot! I can’t wait to taste it!

Pantry Cooked Meal for Work Lunches!
Now that the holidays are over it is time to get to cracking on eating better! Sis inspired me to do some pantry cooking! So in the pan: Kidney beans, Cannellini beans, corn, roasted red peppers, Calamata olives, artichoke hearts, pasta, pasta sauce, sliced jalapeños. Seasoned with some garlic, Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes!
My first week of vacation I was pretty sick and didn’t get to do anything much at all. The last couple of days I have done cleaning, lining drawers in my kitchen to freshen them up! Sorted through stuff for goodwill and cleaned my craft room! It feels good to start out the New Year cleaning and getting rid of things no longer needed that are taking up space!

Completed Some Firsts!
Some firsts that I have done this past couple weeks is to make home made pickles, yeast rolls, and today I made corn bread!
This really isn’t a first but it has been a long time since I have done any reading. I just finished my book Elizabeth The Queen and I loved this book!!!!!

Christmas Gifts & Dinner Rolls
I made quick pickles as gifts for my loved ones. I also made home made yeast rolls. These ended up being MONDO rolls as I have to learn how to make them smaller! tee hee! But big or small they are delicious!
I miss my Gizmo, she is at the vet getting teeth cleaned and nails trimmed! I can’t wait until I can go and get my baby girl! I cleaned all of her blankets for her so they are clean and cozy when she gets back home!

Cooked Turkey in My New Roaster!
I love my new roaster! I just cooked a turkey in it! This will be awesome around Thanksgiving as my oven will be free for other things while the turkey is cooking in the roaster! Wow my house smells so good! Now to figure out how to wash the huge roaster out! Tee hee!

My nephew took Sis and me on a fun hike to find these awesome huge mushrooms to photograph! We had a very nice morning doing that!

Pretty Fall Ivy
This ivy is so pretty! It is a bundle up time of year! Brrrr it is cold outside, however the sun is so very pretty on our winter day!

Slow Cooked Oven Chuck Roast
This chuck roast and vegetables slow cooked in my oven all day! It makes my house smell so good of comfort food! Plus I didn’t have to have my furnace on since the oven was heating my house all day! tee hee!
Today was a day where I needed very easy cooking meals as I don’t feel 100%, so I let my oven and my crock pot do the work! Now I have nice easy meals all ready for this weeks lunches or dinners!
