Took pic of this Sunflower bloom early this morning on our walk! Bear loves going for a walk before I go to work. It is way too warm to take him when I get off work!

Cindy. Cindy’s beautiful bird photos!

(Scarlet Macaw) “Sweet Love.” These birds have this figured out. (Please click to enlarge)
Many birds raise offspring jointly and mate for life.
(Yellow Crowned Amazon Parrot) Some of the birds at the Bloedel Conservatory in Vancouver BC are endangered in the wild.
Birds don’t wage wars and they don’t wipe out multiple species and habitats.
(Red Shouldered Macaw) Sometimes I wonder who is more highly evolved?
(Eclectus Parrot) “Imagine all the people living life in peace.”
Cheers to you from our peaceable feathered friends. We can learn a lot from them~

Treatments are not new to my husband, he has been through treatments four other times in his life. This is his fifth time going through this. Today is his first day for treatment.
He is being a brave trooper! He has his computer so he can watch tv or his movies!

I hope that your Sunday is a great one! I spent the day cooking which is a favorite thing for me to do! I roasted a turkey, Put food in the freezer for future meals such as turkey, lasagna. I made chili this weekend but we are keeping some of the food out for this weeks meals!
My bird turned out awesome and so very moist!
Enjoying the Canadian Geese on our morning walk!

My Bear is recovering very nicely! He is being good too about taking his antibiotics when he eats his meal! It helps wrapping it in some chicken! Hubby went with us on our little walk this morning!
I made some “Yam” cakes this morning, oh my gosh they are good! Reminds me in a way of the Johnny Cakes our nanny made for my sister and me when we were little! Yummy goodness!
This chicken turned out soooooo good! I slow roasted it in the over for 5 hours this morning, it just fell off the bone! Next time I will do two at once, that way there’s enough meat for sandwiches etc! Big hit!
For my blog friends, Monday is just going to suck in more ways than one! First of all we don’t like Mondays (tee hee) and second of all, hubby has to go in for his first chemo treatment. His Hairy Cell Leukemia is back out of remission. Fighting cancer is a lifetime event for hubby. Through it all he has a good positive attitude, he does get depressed sometimes but that is so very understandable!
Well off to do some knitting!
