I love this beautiful building. I want to fulfill my small bucket list and go in and see it sometime on the inside. I don’t usually get downtown for pleasure so it is a dream to see it. This central library serves ad the main branch of the library system in Portland. The building was designed by architect A.E. Doyle and opened on September 6, 1913. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Wikepedia says it contains 17 miles of bookshelf space! Wow talk about book heaven! I adore books!!!!!

Yay Work Day Done!

My train broke down this morning and they had to bring me another one and then something was wrong with that one too. The sign on it should read (Bum Equipment) tee hee! I walked over and took more pics of Andi’s Tree! This one I intentionally captured some of the red plant in there too! The magnolia smells soooo good! I took a small little branch and put it in a vase, I hope I can get it to root so I can have this tree in my yard too! It is magnificent! I love my closeup of it too, the shading is just right, the white is so pure, it brings me delight! Ahh so loving spring!

Take a Breath……

Sometimes day’s can be bad, not really for any reason, just crappy crappy crappy. Stop, take a deep breath, exhale and look around and be thankful.

I have to remind myself to do just that sometimes. Thank goodness my hubby listens and lets me vent to get it off my chest. Then he centers me again! Stop take a breath, turn up the tunes and relax!

Wednesday’s Beauty….

Oh My Gosh I have Spring Fever! The sun outside is gorgeous the temperatures are perfect! Dang I have two more work days left! Cough Cough Cough! Nah just kidding!We just got back from our walk with Boo Bear, I had to take some pics of blooming beauties on the way! I am very very proud of the white flower pic that I took! AWESOME!This one is kind of dark but I like it anyhow! Bear and I walk passed it on our walk at o-dark-30!

Well off to watch some NCIS before I have to go to bed!

A Beautiful Tuesday!

The sun finally came out and it was a gorgeous day! I took my Boo Bear for a walk at 1:30 am this morning before work and then again after I got home from work. It is great exercise for both of us and my Bear is very happy pooch! I call this Tunnel Vision! I go through it every morning on my way to work. Yay no cars but me!!!! Sometimes that is the case! This Bud’s for you! Tee hee, it is a gorgeous Magnolia about to bloom, near our train yard. Now that is what I call “Rolling In the Dough!” wah wah wah!!!! tee hee!

Those folks who are close to me know how much I love puns! It is my silly way of making people smile!!!

Yay Monday is Over….Woo Hoo!

We had a very wet Monday but un-eventful!Yellow Colorspots that were at the store! Beautimous! Sis and I went to the awesome yarn store! Oh my gosh we have to go back, I want to buy yarn from there too! Soooo much better than Red Heart! Red Heart has it’s purpose but it is time for some luxurious delicious yarn! Sis’ kitty Stix, I had to sneak a pic of him because he is camera shy! Now off to watch my movie!
