Have a Grand Tuesday!
I’m tired this morning and would love to just go crawl back in bed, but off I go darn it to work. Poohsville! tee hee
My ever patient German Shepherd just gives me this look that says, “Come on Mom REALLY? 
He has this look of Really Mom? the Skunk baby on my back and the camera too?? Really Mom I am trying to sleep here! 
“Poor Puppy”! tee hee! He hates the camera! I am glad he doesn’t eat it though!

Sunday Fun……
Bear and I got our long walk in this morning! Then hubby went with me to the grocery store and we got that all done. Came home for a couple of hours then went to the mall! Oh my gosh all the walking around can be hard on both of us but we did it and it felt good!
This beauty was near Kitchen Kaboodle! 
This cute Reindeer ended up in my paws! I named him Prancer! He is going to be a train pet near Christmas time! 
As we were walking to our car from Target I saw this sweet dog and had to say hi, I let him smell my hand and he let me pet him! What was funny is my hubby said something to the dog and the dog barked at him! I told hubby “Hey kewl the dog liked me”!!!! tee hee!
On our way home we drove by our friend Tim’s house because they always have cute yard ornaments for all the holidays! I had to get a pic of their Turkeys! Aren’t they the cutest??
And here is another little Bear that I just completed! I have some embellishments I want to put on him and he will be a gift for someone!

Fun Relaxing Saturday Afternoon!
I have been enjoying my afternoon watching my shows like Leverage, CSI NY, and I even watched some music videos of Madonna, Lady Gaga, Reba to name a few! They are artists that I really like! I even crocheted on another Bear which will be gifted to a special some one! I can’t wait to reveal the pic of this bear!
Saw this bird in the neighbors tree and grabbed my camera. Don’t know what kind that it is but wanted a pic of him! 
I love capturing the moods of the sky and the clouds! Pretty darn kewl if you ask me! 
This is the look Bear gives me when he wants me to pull weeds, it is a game for him! 
What a precious face he has! I sure love this dog! He is such a good boy!
Well off to bed, we actually stayed up late by our standards of hours!

Today’s Bear Walk Beauty……
This tree is so beautiful and fuzzy looking and I love the color a lot! 
I love converting some of my pics into black and white! The tree looks really cute in front of the picket fence! 
Here is the original pic which looks just as kewl too! 
This one isn’t as spectacular a pic but I still took it cuz I love the fall color and the tree next to it is naked! Poor tree is probably freezing! hehehehe! I am so darn silly!
Well more to post later, it’s off to the mall for now to get a couple of things and I have to go pick up my van!

One Pot Wonder!
I hope that your Saturday is grand! I got 9 hours of sleep which felt wonderful. My back doesn’t like it when I sleep that long but sometime you just need it anyway! Bear and I did our long walk this morning and I cooked up a one pot wonder for hubby and me to enjoy today!
I absolutely love my cast iron cookware collection that I got going! Today I used my cast iron dutch oven!
Heat EVOO in the pot and slice and halve your onions, (NEXT time I am using lots more onion in this dish) brown them and remove to a plate, next add your carrots and brown them some but don’t cook them. plate them with the onions.
Salt your roast and pepper too but I omit the pepper, hubby doesn’t like it so I pepper mine when I serve my own plate! Sear your roast on both sides and then remove to a plate.
Deglaze your pan with either red wine or beef broth.
Place your roast and carrots and onions in the pot, add beef broth, bring to a boil.
Heat your oven to 275 deg. My roast was about 3 pounds so I cooked it for 3 hours. Cook a 4 or 5 pound roast for 4 hours.
Place your lid securely on the dutch oven and let it do it’s thing!
This is what it looked like when you pull it out! I left the lid on while I cooked my potatoes in a different pot. I cooked up a bunch of little golden potatoes!
Then I made a rue with butter and flour in a small teflon fry pan and made home made gravy from the juices! 
Now that is one delicious meal!
I got a lot done when this was in the oven cooking, got my laundry done, the dog walked, took my van in for service and tail light and left turn signal needed new bulbs! Didn’t want to risk getting a ticket with no left turn signal! Whew!
Hmmmm, what should I make my hubby and me for dessert??? He’s got some Cherry pie left but I’m thinking something chocolatey! Oh yeah that’s what I’m talking about! tee hee
