I adore owls!! With hubby and his sons help we got the yard leaves picked up for this batch! There are still lots more weekends of this til our tree is naked!

I feel a wee bit better but stil no voice! Folks at work are understanding and patient with me when I have to answer them on the radio. I wished I could stay home til this is all gone but can’t. Sometimes the bugs that one can get are super tough!!

I watched the movie Mommie Dearest about Joan Crawford. I don’t know if the story is true or not. I am so into that era of movie stars, Joan Crawford, Bette Davis, Greta Garbo. I want to collect some films from that era!

Today is some grocery shopping and then rest and watch movies and some of my favorite shows like Nikita, Macgyver etc

Glad the Week is Over!

It has been a hard week! I sure hope I get my voice back this weekend. HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!

Yay we made it to Friday! Have a superb weekend! Mine is going to consist of getting rid of leaves in yard, (with help of course) and getting over this awful bug!!

One consolation is I have lost some weight! I don’t recommend the Bronchitis weight loss program however!!

FMLA Company’s Annoying Automated Wait Message…..

I called our FMLA Leave Company’s number to report leave from work and their message is so annoying!

You get about 20 seconds crappy crappy music, and then about 30 seconds of a recorded message and it repeats and repeats and repeats until an actual person comes on.

It says something like “Your call is very important to us, all representatives are busy helping other callers. Press 1 if you want to leave a message or press 9 if you want to go back to the main menu”

What they really mean is…….

“Your call is not the least important to us, all representatives are busy eating lunch and have no intent on taking your call. Press 1 and your call will be disconnected due to lack of interest”

Under the Weather!

I have a virus and it has MAJOR aggravated my asthma! Went to the E.R. And they helped clear my lungs so I feel a little better!

The nice Dr. Gave me some prescriptions to help get through this crud!!

The nurse was awesome and gave me some natural tips too!

Off to take my weary body to bed!
