I can’t wait to get this done and show my reveal! I am making a granny square Scotty dog pillow!
I am working on the sides now which is grey. It’s hard to tell with the bad lighting.
I’ll take my pillow outside when he’s all finished! I’m going to line the inside with material so the stuffing won’t poke out!
Have a great week!
Ugh, tomorrow is our Monday! Grrrrrrr!

Ok my real roots were showing yesterday and we discovered what I did this morning!
I went to Freddie’s yesterday to buy some items and the gal said my card had insufficient funds. Well I had to walk away, and was upset cuz the funds are there.
Well this morning hubby called the card company and I got my wallet out and in doing so I saw what I had done, my eye meds discount card looks just like my Visa card. Soooo yesterday I had used my meds card instead.
Oh my gosh I blushed this morning, at least I gave the card company and my hubby a good laugh.
Well with the proper card in hand, I went back for my purchases!
I hope you had a wonderful holiday weekend!
My grandpa served in WWII, thanks to all the men and women who have served and are currently serving for our country!!

Ok here is my Sunday rant or soap box, if nothing else it’s a chuckle for y’all!!
My husband and I were scrutinizing our phone bill as it seemed a bit high. In doing so we found there was a number attached to our bill that is not ours and we were being charged for it. Hubby called the company and we don’t know how it got attached, maybe the fellow screwed up and accidentally didn’t close out my purchase when I got my new phone and added the customer after me to my account.
Well the phone company got our account fixed with a new password and the extra number taken off!!

Rant number two! A while back our wonderful doctor whom we were quite fond of retired, we just started getting used to the new doctor!
Well we just got a letter in the mail from him that he is now leaving to go to a different endeavor. This is much harder on my husband with his health issues! We now have to get established again now with someone else.
I know, I know there is a Waaaaambulance sitting here for me!!
Tee hee!
Be sure and always scrutinize your bills cuz you never know if your accounts may be hacked, or if someone made a mistake on the billing end of things!!
Have a great day! Hope you enjoyed the chuckles!

There are some neat shows you can see on-line! I like a variety of types of shows that I love to watch, and I like to try different shows as well to break the mold so to speak! I just watched a show called “Cranford”, based in Cranford, Northwest England. It is about single and widowed middle class female inhabitants who are comfortable with their traditional way of life and place great store in propriety and maintaining an appearance of gentility.

The cast is awesome. I am familiar with the actress Judi Dench, I really like her a lot! The period is in the 1840’s, I love how proper the people were. An example is visitors would show only at certain hours and would not overstay their welcome.
Another example: in reference to properly eating oranges, “you don’t say the word “SUCK”, as it is considered vulgar. They were a very polite people, saying “Sir” or “Madam”. They had polite codes that they lived by. Another example is that Ladies were not allowed to go to funerals.
Can you imagine how they would be turning in their graves now a days if they saw how kids wear their pants so you see their undergarments, or the swearing that goes on?
Too bad we don’t have more propriety in our way of life these days! Old days are gone and mostly forgotten.
Off to watch another show! I can’t sleep so going to take advantage and enjoy another episode!

This pretty tree is in front of our post office. Nature is just so beautiful!
Two pretty awesome looking hot pads for my kitchen! I love vibrant colors as of late!
Muuuuuhua, I had my yarn fix today!!!! We went to Michael’s and I got two bags full of new yarn!!!! Ohhhhhhh yeah! Now that’s what I’m talking about! I started a new scarf as a gift for my hubby to wear this winter.

We took our dog Bear and walked up a ways along a trolley trail near our home. This tree looked interesting with the vines going up its trunk, pooooooor tree!
My old pooch is very happy and napping! I can’t believe he is going to be seven years old this coming August. Time goes so very fast! He is such a good dog! My bestest fur friend!
Have a wonderful and safe weekend!
