Sweetest Eyes of an Angel

She knew how to beg for her favorite things to eat!

She was an angel on earth and now she is an angel in heaven!

She knew how to smile and make anyone smile! I was so blessed to have her for the five years that we got to have together! I rescued her and she had also rescued me!

She had been suffering some health issues since August 12th. Her poor little body obviously couldn’t handle it anymore! It is so very hard to lose your best little fur friend, fur kid! Loving companion who had a very sweet personality! She was such a gentle sweet soul!

I know she is resting in peace and I am ever so grateful I got the be her mama!

Rest In Peace my beloved Gizmo, I will forever miss you!

I got this Lebanese style Bulgur Pilaf recipe from http://www.feelgoodfoodie.net blog site! I wanted to try Bulgur as it is a good way to increase fiber in your diet!

This dish is delicious!

Wow it is so hard to cut one of these in half! I looked up on YouTube on how to best tackle it and luckily I got that baby cut in half!

This was baked with Boursin Cheese, grape tomatoes and topped with Parmesan cheese!

I wanted to try Saffron rice, look at the pretty little fronds in there! tee hee! I made a chicken curry to go with the rice and yum a great combination! This will be going in my lunch tomorrow!

This weeks easy lunches is Mason Jar Steak Salads with Balsamic Dressing! What is so nice about these is it keeps me from eating bread sandwiches! Healthier choices!

My easy Sunday dinner is think chicken breasts coated in Italian Bread crumbs, pan cooked to get a golden brown on them. Placed in the casserole dish topped with left over marinara sauce that needed to be used up and topped with Gruyere cheese and baked for 50 minutes! Wow tender delishiousness goodness! I ate one piece of chicken then had a wedge salad with honey/dijon dressing and sprinkled house seasoning on top!

These babies are on my Sis and Big Brother’s boat! It is so kewl to see them from eggs to hatchlings!

The proud mama keeping her little ones warm! She sure had a keen eye on us! tee hee! We didn’t get too close to her!

I love these blooming trees that I see every day on my break! It is starting to get lighter out earlier too which is so awesome! I am ready for warmer weather!
