Weekend Fun…. Food and Crochet…
I was a good girl and got my shopping done on Friday, this morning I put a roast and fixings in the crock pot, and made a big batch of sweet and sour chicken and rice. While in the process of picking up the huge pan of sweet and sour chicken to pour into my mixing bowl, I injured my right wrist. Now I have to favor it till it gets better.
This was my yummy dinner!!
I just finished this lavender and pink bear, I decided to name her Lilac! Now I get to crochet her embellishments! I wished I kept a tally on how many of these bears I have made now. Lots and lots of them! So much fun!
Now as I crochet I am watching The Virginian, the particular episode I am watching aired in 1968. I love westerns!
Bear and I walked a nice long walk today, I got in 2.11 miles of walking today!

Sis Andi gave me this adorable poodle as she knows I love poodles and have a poodle collection! She made me a wonderful home made card! I love her artwork, so very talented! It is so nice having special people in our lives! Enriches our souls!

Pink Crochet Cancer Bears…
I have the scarves done, just have to add the cancer ribbon appliqués to them. I will do that next weekend! My brain isn’t thinking too clearly today, got a migraine. ICK!

My Precious Puppy….
Bear was such a good boy this morning, he got his bath and he is all fluffy. This was taken yesterday, he tries to ignore my camera! I was going to take him for a walk this morning but a migraine is preventing that. He will get one in the morning. He got one yesterday so he is ok! He seems to know when I am not feeling well!
It is so kewl to have a dog so in tune to me! My velcro baby! tee hee

1976 Film Logan’s Run
Yesterday I watched the old June 23, 1976 movie Logan’s Run. I remember watching that movie when I was a kid with my folks.
It is a science fiction film where the society controls its population and consumption of resources by killing everyone who reaches the age of thirty.
Some of the cast member I really liked are Jenny Agutter as Jessica, Michael York as Logan, Peter Ustinov as the Old Man
It is so neat that you can tell the movie is done on film instead of the new updated way Hollywood makes pictures now days.

Mmmm Mmmm Peanut Butter…..
I love opening anew jar of peanut butter, looks so decadent and perfectly smooth!
I made peanut butter thumbprints cookies! Some for us and some to give to my friends Stuart and Andi so he can take them home when he leaves our house tomorrow.
I am sad today, got a migraine. They get old but it is my cross to bare! My mama had them too so I am sure I inherited them from her.
