Our replica vintage trolleys are going to St. Louis, they ran here since 1991. It’s sad to see them go. I have operated them quite a bit in the past. Times are sure changing! I am an old timer at my job and have seen some history in the making! Shhhh we won’t talk about my age!!! tee hee

It is a sad day to see these trollies loaded up on these truck to be shipped back East. I was there to see them arrive here in Portland and trained many to operate them. I was also the supervisor for them for a short time. They were Portland’s best kept secret. Tourists loved to ride them from downtown to Lloyd Center. I hope they will get better maintenance than they received from TriMet.
I was surprised to see they were being loaded onto an open flatbed. I hope they get covered somehow to protect them for their long journey
