The Hanson Building: Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office

I had heard that the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office might be moving from this location. Their building has structural issues. The building was built in 1956 as a health clinic.

Bear and I took a drive there to get pics of the building. I wanted them before they end up moving. A piece of history! I was in the Sheriff Explorer program when I was in high school. Fond memories, as I had wanted to be a police officer.

      My Grandmother kept on and on trying to force me out of my career choice and I got so sick of listening to it so I changed my mind. I wished I had pursued my dreams anyhow
