I called Dish to cancel the service today and of course they try to talk you into staying. They told me my husband had his account for 12 years. Well that is all fine and dandy but I wanted to cancel it to save money!!! Besides all those channels and lots of times nothing to watch! I am very happy watching Netflix with no commercials!!!!! Plus it saves me over $100 a month!!!!!

We got rid of the cable tv several years ago both for the money savings and because the programming was not suitable for anyone. We have never regretted it. The kids started looking at those stacks of paper with the glue on the end – I think they used to call them books…
