Lily my white tiger was the train pet today! Mondays are always kind of hard!
It was a bit chilly but not raining so I managed to waddle through a walk with Bear! I say waddle because a few days ago he accidentally stepped on my foot with his full weight and messed up my right foot. It will take it a while to heal but we managed our walk which makes us both happy!

To me making soups reminds me so much of my dear friend whom I had adopted as my grandma, she used to love making soups and share them with me when I visited! Comfort food!
This morning early I boiled a whole chicken, then took great care in preparing the carrots, celery and onions.
Simmered on the stove for several hours to get all the flavors infused! Yum, chicken soup for the soul! Nothing beats home made!

On an errand I saw a group of Canada geese and managed to get some pics! This beauty might be nibbling on grass or just closing his eyes and resting for a bit dreaming of spring!

We know a very nice nurse who just found out her sister has brain cancer. The awareness ribbon color for that cancer is grey so I am making her a bear in grey and she will be accented in pink. It is always so sad to hear a loved one who is losing to cancer.
I am excited to start reading this book written by a favorite actress of mine, Felicity Kendal! She starred in one of my favorite shows Rosemary and Thyme!

On my way home from work, my van did a quick stop, had to get out and say hi to this adorable horse and get his photo! He was curious and came right up to the fence. He seemed a little shy so I was afraid to pet him!

The eyes tell a lot! His eyes have soul! He speaks wonders with those eyes! Happiness is an expressive dog! He may not be able to speak words but can communicate what he wants, or how much he loves you! I love his magic eyes, sharing his life and love with us!
