I can’t let any bit of yarn go to waste, so I started a blanket that will have an array of different colors in it! I am liking it very much so far!!!!! 
I call this my scrap-ghan! I am anxious to get my next color going, have to stop till tomorrow because my neck is starting to really bother me. Getting old not fun sometimes! tee hee!

I had some extra cooked pasta in the freezer so I thawed it, place some olive oil in the fry pan, I have a jar of minced garlic so I put some of it in the olive oil, got it going with the heat on, added diced fresh tomatoes, add your favorite spices, I added Italian Seasoning, Basil, Salt, Pepper
Plate it and top with parmesan cheese! Yummy!!!!!
Tomorrow with the rest of the bit of pasta that I have left over I will do some kind of cheesy dish with it! I can’t waste the pasta and I always end up making too much for my Spaghetti or whatever dish I am making so it goes into a bag in the freezer for future nummy dishes that are simple!

I just took this pic of this Military Helicopter flying near our home, he made two passes so I assume he was traveling near the river! Pretty cool to see stuff like that!
Now to get ready to go to my follow up appointment and see how my eye is doing!

I had Laser surgery/cataract removal today. I was scared but made it through it. I had surgery a year and a half ago on my left eye. That one was done the old fashioned way. This one the first part was done with a laser, they have to numb your eye and that is it because you have to be able to follow directions for the laser part.
Then they take me to the operating room and remove my lens and put in a new one! I am drugged up for that part of the surgery. Now I have a regimen of drops and I leave my eye patch on for today and at night for the rest of the week. My eye looks like it’s been through the mill! tee hee!
Now time to rest some more, the drugs in my system makes me sleepy. My baby boy Bear knows mama has been through something and he is comforting me, so in tune to me! Awesomeness!

Two houses down we have a new neighbor and apparently he is a musician. He had his base up so loud it was so annoying with all of our windows shut. I was so ticked my husband went over there to talk to him.
He came over to apologize and I explained to him I go to bed at 4 pm and with that base of his blaring there is no way I could sleep with that. My husband said we were about ready to call the police.
I wished we had lots of money cuz we would go move into the country!

I just finished reading the book The Missing Girls by Linda O’Neal, Phillip Tennyson and Rick Watson. 
It is a very very sad story about Ashley Pond and Miranda Gaddis who died way too young!!! Ashley Pond was only twelve years old when she vanished from a school bus stop in town south of Portland, Oregon. Police began a frantic search, then another tragedy was just about to take place.
Miranda Gaddis was Ashley’s best friend. Just two months after Ashley’s disappearance, Miranda was on her way to school when she too was abducted.
Linda O’Neal was instrumental and heroic lady who brought the killer to justice!!!!! She is a private investigator intimately involved in this shocking case.
Here the community added lots of stuffed animals and notes to their memorial fence on the property where they died. During the 2 year anniversary of their deaths, a service was held and Miranda’s older sister said, “You Can;t change the past, no matter what you do. But you can take advantage of the present and plan for your future”.
Lori Pond said “What if? Life originates with God. Even our personal lives are not our own. Life has nothing to do with fairness, and its values or justification can not be measured by longevity It is not sad to die young, it is sad to die and never to have lived: to have been alive and never to have seen anything or known God”
Those statements touched my heart! It is so very sad when any young person dies too soon and doesn’t get to live their lives until they old and gray! It is so sad when it happens to anyone anywhere but somehow it really tugs more at your heart strings when it happens in your small city or neighborhood. It hits so close to home and socks you in the eyes!!

Ahhh look how tolerant my baby boy is, letting me put his Mondo stuffed animals on him! LoHe sure loves his birthday presents! The pink one we call Mondo and the other we call Mondo Frog.
Look at our very yummy steak, hubby barbecued it for us and I made home made mashed potatoes to go with it! Oh soooo good!
