Shirley Temple-Black passed away on Monday at the age of 85. I really like her! She was a beautiful lady! I have a Shirley Temple doll that a friend had made and I cherish it!

My husband and I shop at Fred Meyer’s now. We quit going into Safeway because they only have one check stand open and that is fricken ridiculous. Well I only needed two items and we have had cabin fever so we stopped in to Safeway to get my coffee creamer, well wouldn’t you know only one check stand open and no checker in sight. You have to ring this huge cow bell to get help. Well I had a COW!! tee hee!
I don’t know how this particular store stays in business. Ridiculous!!!

I have Jodi Ambrose cook book Darn Good Eats and in her book I baked her Dump Cake recipe. It has pineapple and cherries in it and I felt the need for some chocolate fix and I made a home made frosting for the top and wowzers, what a fabulous dessert treat!!!!!

Today I watched the Movie Bird on A Wire which was released on May 18th 1990 starring Mel Gibson and Goldie Hawn. I love the theme song too which was sung by the Neville brothers.
This is a favorite chick flick movie plus I get to see Mel Gibson’s naked butt!! Oooolala! Shhhhhhhh!

Oh my gosh we have big fat snow flakes coming down again! I think this storm is going to last longer than the weather folks think. Yuck Yuck Yuck! It is a hot tea or coffee kind of day and I am going to be baking some treats later on!
