Happy Hump Day!!!!!!!

HumpDayWhat was kewl is one of our fare inspectors knew why I had my camel today!!!! tee hee!WittleBirdyCute Little Birdy!ChristmasLights1ChristmasLights2I was enjoying some Christmas Lights on my way to work this morning at o-dark-30! GiraffeOne of my regular passengers gave me this adorable Giraffe for a Christmas Present today!!!! I named her Jenny!!! It says Hightops on the tag! pretty cute!!!! I love my giraffe!   Now I have a cute giraffe and two cute foxes from to special people!

I know that every year people go through the holiday blues for one reason or another! I know some people who are going through that and I want them to know they are in my heart and in my thoughts! I go through some of that every year too because I miss my whole family as they are no longer on this earth. I have my fond memories of the past with them and I embrace that.

Two more days to go folks and it is the weekend!!!  Woo Hoo!!!! Saturday I get to meet a friend for lunch and that will be fun!

My husbands friend made me a stuffed Pony so I made her this Bear in her favorite color!

Yay he turned out so cute!! Now I get to crochet a new project! So many projects to choose from oh my!!

I Had a Special Day Today!!!

Today is my birthday and hubby took me to Claim Jumper for lunch!!!!

20131214-134452.jpgI had Salmon, I call it (Eskimo Candy) I am half Eskimo and have always called Salmon my Eskimo Candy!!!! Oh my gosh it was delicious!!!!!

I had a wonderful “50th” day today! Thank you hubby!!!!

Blondie Strikes Again……

Oh my gosh I sure live up to my nick name dog gone it! I made my husband Blondie’s which is my signature dessert. This time I tried a different variation however do I really have to live up to my nick name when making my dessert too that shares the same name?

Drat it all I forgot to put in the white chocolate. Cake came out of the oven and there on the counter sits the chocolate.

I told hubby well next weekend I shall have to make it again correctly!

Rule of the day, set all ingredients out pre-measured in bowls, that way nothing gets left out!!

I’m tired. Worn out from a busy schedule and a five day headache. Driving home alone from the company holiday party, another couples event. I get a call from my niece Emily to thank me for helping her last weekend with her paper – she got 48 out of 50 and has an “A” going into finals. She wondered about calling because she didn’t want to wake me up, but she was excited and called anyway. And at just the right moment, she told me I mattered when it mattered.

Make a call, send a text – tell someone they matter. You never know the blessing you can bestow when someone really needs it. God’s timing is never early, but always on time.
