My Saturday Outing!

I did a rare thing this morning. I got on a city bus, went downtown and went to an open house the Police were having. I am so glad that I went, I had a great time! I took lots of photos so I will be showing them off in a series of posts.

JusticeCenterJailHere I am on the bus and the tall building is the Justice Center Jail. Very pretty building. I was able to tour it with a police officer friend of ours and also on my police ride-a-long one time. FederalBuildingWhen I got off the bus I walked over to Broadway and took pics of the Federal Building. Saturday Fun……

This home is on the historic register. IMG_0886I love this house!IMG_0890Bear and I went back and got a better pic of the 100 year old house. This house has seen many changes in the area and much history I am sure! I wonder how many different families have lived there.

Here sits my craft project, I’m goin’ through withdrawals!!!

Monday I get a clear lens put in my glasses so that should help a lot. In two weeks I get another eye test to get my new prescription.

Then crafting time again!! Ooooooooooooh yeah!!

Me in My HUGE glasses!!

Hubby took me to my post op appointment. The doctors office gave me this large sunglasses to keep my eye protected. I go back in a couple weeks to get my prescription for what minor vision correction I need.

Doc said when he was doing the procedure he saw in the microscope how ad my eye really was. I’m glad I got the surgery, it’s nice to see!!!!

Monday they will put a clear lens in my left side of my glasses as they want me to wear them all the time so my eye has less chance of getting bumped.
