Every year I always try to capture the huge mushrooms at the Post Office! This one is so huge and very pretty! Glad I got it because the next time I was there it was gone! Good think I am addicted to photography because I have captured some fun history and found out later the photo opportunity is gone!

I had been saving vegetable leftovers from slicing onions, celery, carrots etc in a bag in the freezer and when it was full, made home made broth in the crock pot. I needed to use up leftover turkey so added that along with split peas and some elbow macaroni in the crock to make a yummy soup!
What is fun about cooking is you don’t have to follow rules or recipes! Half of the turkey I had left went into the freezer for a future soup! That way it won’t spoil! Living alone I have to be creative so things don’t get wasted away!
My pantry and fridge leftovers, soup will be tasty! I added salt, pepper and thyme to spice it up! I will let you know how it turns out!

Fall stares you in the face with it’s beauty! tee hee! Such as this lone leaf who is riding the windshield, taken there by the wind and stuck with the wet of the windshield! Beautious leaf who once graced a beautiful tree!

I went to see my friends and on my way home had to capture the St. John’s Bridge! It is so pretty! That bridge and the Fremont Bridge are my favorites!

One year ago tomorrow I lost my beloved husband and exactly 8 months later I lost my beloved Bear! I was very very strong helping Nathan through all of his chemo treatments and I had to be super strong during his time of death. That was the hardest hardest to go through.
I can’t believe a year has elapsed already! I have been keeping myself busy working on my house, visiting my friends and being with my beloved Lucy girl! Tomorrow I am working to make some extra money so I won’t be sitting around being sad or depressed! I have come to the point of accepting his death but it doesn’t make me miss him any less! I talk to him and that helps! I hope he can hear me! tee hee! Bear too!
I am sure happy I have my little Lucy to help me fill my days! She brings me such joy!

I am so proud of Lucy! She was such a good girl in the yard and didn’t bark when she saw people! I came home from work and filled my yard debris bin. Lucy brought me a huge branch, she loves big sticks! Silly girl! She cracks me up! She is such a delight!

On way home to Sis House, I saw this nice lady walking her horse! She was so nice and let me take a picture! She said that the horse is a rescued horse named Misha! What a beauty!
