Lucy was keeping a close eye on me! She stays close to me all the time! We got our walk in early before the rain!
I decided to make my late husband’s favorite chili recipe! It is going to be good in my lunches this week!

I took Lucy on two walks this morning. Went grocery shopping and came home and made a gourmet meal in no time with my Instant Pot Cooker! This dish is called Indian Chicken Tikka Massala and I made some Jasmine Rice to add to it! Wow the house smelled so good and this is delicious!
Lucy went with me on an errand. She doesn’t really like car rides, she whines. I am trying to make it a fun experience for her. During the winter I would like to take her with me as I always did Bear! I raised Bear from puppy and he got so used to car rides and absolutely loved them!
Now I am going to crochet. I am so bummed I can’t find my favorite needle. I have a spare but I WANT my favorite one!! tee hee! I know it will show up somewhere. I had to pack a lot of stuff when I had some rooms in my house painted. I am slowly going through stuff and getting rid of unnecessary items. It takes a lot of time, as I have lived here for 12 years and my husband had lived here longer than that! It is unbelievable what we accumulate.
Some day each room will be perfect! Now off to crochet with my SPARE needle! I hope I can deal with that! hahahaha! Not as good as my well used one!

I always worry how Lucy will do when we encounter other dogs on our walk. Since I don’t know her history, it is a learning experience on how she will do in new situations. I always worry too what the intentions are of the other dog. That poor dog looks too skinny to me!
The only problem I had to worry about was Lucy not making me fall because she kept walking different directions keeping an eye on that dog. Other than that she did very well! I am proud of her! My little princess!
I got my gutters cleaned as the rains are coming. Yay, I did it all by myself! Woo Hoo!

This chuck roast cooked all morning on low in the crock pot along with a bunch of onions, and mushrooms and beef broth. Simple easy dinner! Lucy got a taste of gravy on her meal too! Lucy approved!
