My Day After Christmas…

I had the most wonderful day with my Sis Tracy and family yesterday! They helped me make my first Christmas alone very memorable!

Bear got some nice presents along with his big bed which he loves! He wants his treats all of the time and he goes and stands in front of the pantry begging! “No Bear~Not all of the time” tee hee!

Sis told me about this vitamin E oil and it smells so good! I am putting it on my tattoo where I have been having some issues with and I hope it helps it!

It is very cold outside today so I decided to make some sweet potato soup! I can’t wait to try it!

I am an AVID dog lover so I had to get this mug! So very cute!

I collect movies and tv series so I got these for my collection! Grew up with this stuff! Fond memories!

I love Ree Drummond also known as The Pioneer Woman and her family just opened a Mercantile in their town! I ordered these adorable stuffed animals from her store! The Eagle is because my late husband loved Bald Eagles! I got Charlie the Ranch dog because he is just so darn cute! I know I will be a repeat customer to her store and someday I am going to travel there and see it in person!

My new cook book arrived and it is autographed! I just love that Grinch Stuffy! Bear is out in his yard either tracking or just checking out the snow the other day!

It ended up being a nice afternoon so Bear and I got our walk in!

Some Monday Smiles….

The Grinch brought smiles to my passengers today! Right now evenings and weekends are hard, it’s the nature of the beast so to speak! Thank goodness for that pooch pictured up there! He watches over me! Shhh don’t want the sleeping Bear! We were able to get our walk in after work and that felt really good!

Winter Walk….

Bear has had cabin fever so I dressed warm and put my Ice Trekkers on my boots and took Bear for a walk! He was so very happy! He adores his walks! Yay I didn’t fall!

My Husband’s Christmas Cactus is Blooming

My husband had this cactus for many years! It sits beneath my kitchen window! It usually blooms around Thanksgiving, but it didn’t this year! I wonder if it knew my hubby was dying! No of course not, but funny how the mind of humans thinks!

Well after preparing my dinner and doing some cleaning up in my kitchen, I noticed it has blooms! It brings bitter sweet tears to my eyes! I am so glad it is blooming! I gave it some plant food and hopefully it will continue to produce more flowers! I see buds on other branches!

A Couple Winter 2016 Pics…

It feels like I need to go and turn my heat up! I can tell it is getting colder outside! Bear and I are ready for warmer weather! He misses his walks but I won’t walk him in this as I would risk falling and can’t have that!
