I just bought Trisha Yearwood’s Cook Book and today I am making her Winter Vegetable Soup! Sorry I can’t post the recipe, you will just have to buy her cook book! tee hee!

I can’t wait to have a bowl! Soups are so awesome in the fall and winter!

Happy Restaurant….

On my way home from Canby yesterday and after one more errand, I decided to stop and eat Chinese food for dinner! What is so awesome beside the good food is the owner remembered me and was so happy to see me! Really made my day! I have nice leftovers for lunch today too!

Military Honors Ceremony

The hardest thing to do is to bury your spouse & best friend! My husband served in the U.S. Coast Guard and today was his Military Honors Burial Ceremony at Willamette National Cemetery! Many thanks go to the service men who worked to perform a beautiful ceremony to honor my husband for his service to our country!

Many thanks to the people who were able to attend with me and my step-son to make my husband’s honor special!

Chuckle of the Day: Snarky Sharky!

That is my mom-speak for my beloved German Shepherd! When Bear is not in the mood to give me kisses he pulls his lips back and does a low growl! He would never do anything to hurt me! He is very gentle and he just simply cracks me up!!! Its one of our silly games!

Love Has Wrapped Me Today….

I felt warmth and love today which is so very cool in my time of need! My husband has taken care of me in ways and he did long ago with the knowledge that he probably would not be here! What a wonderful hubby!

This morning my three lady friends whom I befriended, they don’t even ride my train, they walk in Hillsboro for exercise, so on my break I always meet them part way and walk with them back to my train. The one ladies dog always gives me kisses! They all gave me their phone numbers and a very nice card with money inside for condolences! How very kewl is that!~!!!! It is so neat that I have touched their lives and in return they touched mine with their friendship!!!

Some one very special gave me these wonderful things below today! WOW awesomeness:

Bear growled at my new stuffed dog, it was funny!!!! I think I will name him Boofy! My little sister used to have a stuffed dog named Boofy and this guy reminds me of him!

It feels so good to be loved!!!!

Leaves Leaves Leaves….

I have to look at the weather forecast to determine when I get my bin filled with leaves. Today was so nice after work and the forecast doesn’t look good for the weekend so when I got home, Bear and I went out and I raked leaves!
