This was taken on my break at work! So beautiful! Fall makes me happy!

The weather has been cold and very wet and rainy, so that called for a huge batch of home made stew! I bought a chuck roast and cut it into medallions myself! Wow the best way to make stew! I got carried away on the cooking as I always make way too much! That is ok because it makes for perfect stocking up the freezer for future meals!

This morning I baked a chicken and then made gravy from the pan drippings! So good and makes the kitchen smell yummy with the aromas!

Then I put the carcass in my soup pot along with frozen veggie leavin’s as I like to call them and made a rich broth to put in the fridge to drink! Yes I like to drink it, or use to make a simple soup! Maybe an egg flower soup is in the future! tee hee

The weekend was spent just relaxing with my best little girl! I have been having way too much fun photographing her lately! She doesn’t like her puperazzi mama with the camera, tee hee! Ok maybe she does with a treat for posing!

Capturing pics of my camera shy little girl! Her eyes are saying, “I don’t like the camera mama but I love you so I will pose anyhow” She is such a sweet girl!

Even though we are still having sunshine and warm temps, because it is fall time it still calls for simple soup time! A ham hock, pinto beans, celery, artichoke hearts and roasted red peppers in beef broth make for a very simple tasty soup!

I decided to try out my new little BBQ before we start getting bad weather! I cooked sirloin burgers and they turned out good for my first time, next time I will cook them a little less time!

My best little fur kid was out with me and enjoying the sunshine and the aroma of the burgers cooking! We are enjoying the sunshine and warmth as long as we get to have it!

My friend at work showed me this huge wasp nest while on my break. Wow I had never seen one before and it is so fascinating looking and scary at the same time! The company I work for is having a specialist come to remove it from the parking lot! I wonder how long it takes the wasps to make one and it looks like paper mache!

My point and shoot camera died! I just uploaded photos that were on the SD card and there were photos on there from a year ago! I was trying to see how many I could get on the card before I had to upload them!

It is fun seeing what you took, looking at the memories captured! Now I have to get another camera.

It did get a whole lot of use so it was worth it for as long as it lasted!

Gizmo was such a good girl when we house sat for someone special! She was funny and would not let me out of her sight since she was in new territory!

I saw these cute ducks on my break today! They are so used to people!

I made Italian stuffed peppers with Orzo! This is the first time I have ever made stuffed peppers and it is definitely a keeper for make ahead food!

I also did a big batch of Lemon squeezy, blueberry, cream cheesy pancakes and they are fabulous! In the ams when I have them I will top them with lemon juice and powdered sugar!

I bought beets to roast, so I cut off the tops and did a sauté of onion, the tops and shrimp! Wow fabulous! My decadent snack!

I have been working on my blanket all week and am not far from being done with it! I can’t wait to show the reveal. I will use my regular camera to hopefully capture the true colors as the granny square looks blue and it is actually a green color.

Gizmo has been thoroughly enjoying me being home! Back to the grind tomorrow, tee hee!
