I am almost done with the border for my blanket and then it will be time to tie in the loose ends on the back. It is too warm to work on it tonight but this weekend it will get finished and then I can post the reveal photo!

I just finished this blanket today! All that it needs now is a border and have all the ends tied in! I love how it turned out! Crochet happiness!

I remember when my grandparents went into this store and bought things for our home. Gordon’s Fireplace was started in 1955 and the business was an original tenant in the Lloyd Center Mall. When the mall was being renovated, Mr Gordon moved his business to this location in which the building was a former aircraft plant.
He was unable to sell his business so once everything is sold, the business is gone. He is retiring. It is so sad to see something that has been around for such a long time disappear.
I hope that the building is preserved and stays there rather than being torn down!

This craft-a-holic, has another project in the works! I am making a knit square project, the squares will be done differently to give the blanket some variety! I love the feel of yarn as it is worked into a wonderful finished project! Yarn therapy!

Ahhhhh, this blanket project is turning out very nicely! It is a wonderful way to use up my scrap yarns! I can’t wait to get it done and put on a lovely border! Woo Hoo! Sweet crochet happiness!
