Australian Shepherd Named Gracie

I took hubby’s truck in for service today and while waiting, I got to chat with a very nice lady and pet her adorable 3 year old Australian Shepherd named Gracie!

Gracie made her owner and I laugh so hard, while we were talking she sat on the floor and managed to completely chew through her leash. Her mama was able to work a knot to reattach it.

It is fun talking to other pet owners, they are so nice in letting me pet their pooches and take portraits of their adorable dogs! Made for a fun wait in the lobby!

My First Lemon Meringue Pie

I am quite pleased at how my two pies turned out! They have to cool for two hours and then place in the refrigerator to chill! I shall call them patience pies because you have to be patient to eat them! tee hee!

I have many fond memories of my Grandma making pies like these and they were my favorite!

I just baked my pie crusts, I am making home made Lemon Meringue pies for the first time! I am so excited! My Grandma used to make them all the time and they were a favorite of mine!

I am making them for my hubby as he loves Lemon too!

Foot Boot…..Velcro Cast

This is what happens when a 100 pound German Shepherd accidentally steps on your foot! I had to go and see my foot doctor and the highly recommended urging of my husband. Good thing I did, they took x-rays and said I have hairline fractures. I have to wear this velcro boot while walking.

I am not allowed to walk the dog until I see my doctor again, he said I would risk breaking the bones completely through! Yikes!

Poor Boo Bear didn’t mean to hurt me, we just tangled or zigged when we should have zagged!

Sunshine and Sunhouettes!

Loving how the trees make fun SUNhouette’s against the sunrise sky! My blondespeak term!

This bus driver cracked me up, he activated his yield sign to tease me today! I waited so he could get his light before I called my signal, he waved and gave me big smiles, made my day!

Well I am breaking down and getting my tush to the foot doctor on Thursday. I am afraid he is going to give me a shot which I’m scared of! I know that is going to hurt! I hope he can help me heal faster!
