Weekends are short, yet weekends are fun!

Bear and I did our long walk this morning. Enjoying the old trees in Oak Grove Blvd. The old original sidewalk in to the right of the trees.
Yikes, the big old home we like to enjoy when we walk has a mondo giant hole in their yard. They must be having some pipe problems. Sucks! 
I have just 5 more rows on the variegated yarn and then do 14 rows of the yellow and then I get to embellish the baby blanket and I am done with another project! Yay!

Now this one goes way back! It was a long time ago when I operated our Vintage Trolleys. I used to wear a tie that had dalmatians dogs on it! Memories! We don’t have our trolleys anymore! So sad! Fond memories!

Bear and I have walked by this big beautiful old home. I bet it has been around this area for a long time and if it could talk I bet it would share some history of the area! I love the front porch!
I would love a big old home like that but it would be too much for hubby and me to care for! If it was mine I know I would have more than one dog! tee hee!

This is my neighbor’s beautiful porch! I went over to take her a gift that I had made and the inside of her house is just as gorgeous! She really knows how to decorate! 
I am so delighted about my smaller blanket that I started in this same pattern that I decided to make a bedspread for my king size bed! Yeeeeeha it is looking awesome and i can’t wait to get more done on it! Off I go to crochet and watch the rest of my Columbo movie! So many movies and so little time! tee hee

Bear got all upset and someone rang our doorbell late in the evening. There was a little old lady on our porch trying to get in our house.
I called 911 to get some help to figure out where she lives. Come to find out she lives across the street not far from us and she was out wandering around. Her son she is 82 years old and she doesn’t speak much English.
Her son apologized to me but I was glad to help to make sure she found her way home again.

Yay my scrap-ghan is looking awesome!!!! The top color looks blue in the photograph but it is purple and looks really good against the sunflower yellow! I am going to have to make myself a big one for my bed now too! Craft happiness!
Bear is keeping an eye on me as I watch CSI Miami on my laptop! He loves his mommy!

I am working on a stash buster-ghan! Great way to use up extra yarn! I started another one too in an Attic 24 pattern and I will show that when I get more done on it! This pattern in looking kewl!
