My Saturday Fun…..

MyPuppyMy “puppy” as he always will be in my heart, is laying in one of his favorite spots in the living room! We had a good game of tug of war with his rope and now he says it is nap time!MyGrandpaToday would have been my Grandpa’s birthday, he would have been 91 had he still been alive. I miss him, he was very dear to my heart!!!!! He was and will always be very special to me! I was raised by my grandparents. I wasn’t close to Grandma like I was to Grandpa. Grandma and I didn’t see eye to eye on many things! I honor your memory my sweet Grandpa, I miss you and Happy Birthday! BabyBlanket1BabyBlanket2I just finished my flat ripple baby blanket! I have done many many ridged ripple blankets in the past and this is the first time I did an flat ripple and it was much fun!!!! I like how it turned out!

Now to finish other projects!

RESCUE Meeeeee!

Those who are close to me know how much I love Fire Fighters! tee hee, gotta have a drool rag!!!! I just had to give ya a Friday night chuckle!FireDept1I think the fire fighters were doing some training today at the college dorms! Pretty cool (I mean Hot) to watch them work! Ok, ok I will behave now! NOT!!!!!!! Muuuuuhwah!FireDept4Just hanging out on a ladder for a while folks!!! tee heeFireDept6FireDept8Love the American Flag on their truck too! Hey guys where is the Dalmation????FireDept12Here they are packing it up for the day! I don’t know how they can wear all that gear in the hot weather and how they can bear all that!!! They have my utmost respect and admiration!!! Same goes for the police force too!!!!

Tuesday Smiles…….

DrMilnerDoggyJacksMeet the vets doggy and his name is Jacks. What a sweet pooch! He let me pet him while my dog Bear was getting stitches removed from his tail. This dog is smart, he sat for me, shaked his paw with me and graciously ate a doggy treat! WhiteFlowerBeautyThistleBeautyI just made a huge pot of home made chicken/tomato/noodle soup for hubby and me. When he isn’t feeling well there is nothing better than home made soup for the soul!
