Some Saturday Fun…….

Bear and I got in a small walk this morning which we really enjoyed. Today was some chores day, I like to try to get them all done on Saturday but not always so some will be done tomorrow. IMG_2304I have been watching the original Hawaii 5-o, Jack Lord is so awesome! I had to take a pic of this scene, check out his car phone! I bet it is rotary dial too! tee hee!!!!! Today is vintage day for me, you see I am vintage, my show is vintage and my baking today is vintage! chuckle chuckle….IMG_2316Beautiful fluffy sifted flourIMG_2317Creamy eggs and sugarIMG_2318Bananas ready to go!IMG_2319Ready for the oven!IMG_2320And here is my banana bread! I used a vintage cook book that a very very dear friend gave me long ago. The cook book was published in 1946. The bread turned out awesome, two loaves are tucked away in the freezer!

I have my bear parts all crocheted and now just have to make the body and then assemble! He is looking awesome. I am trying to get him done so I can take him to his new owner on Monday. She commissioned a fairly large project from me so she can give them to her children as Christmas presents! As soon as he’s assembled there will be pics to show off!

I hope that you have a wonderful weekend! My Grandpa used to get up at 4 am every morning because that is what he did for his job for years and when he retired his body was so used to that he still got up early. I have a feeling  I will end up doing that too. My normal bedtime is 5 pm and up at 1 am. This is my Friday and my body says my bed time was over an hour ago! DANG I want to stay up on my Friday! Noooooooooooo don’t go to bed so early I say!

City Lights…

It is way too hot out and I won’t walk him in the hot heat cuz I don’t want his paws to get burned. He sure loves his walks.
