What’s Cooking in Blondie’s Kitchen!
Today is my husband’s and my Anniversary and I so much love to cook so I made us a luscious meal and hubby really really loved it so it is a keeper recipe in my house!
Onion, celery and garlic saute going on here! 
Yukon Golds go in the recipe too!
White Vermont Cheddar Cheese as well! Yummmmm
Wualah! My Cottage Pie which can also be known as Shepherds Pie depending on the ingredients that you use. I am broadening my horizons and trying meals from different regions. In both England and Ireland this dish is made and here is some history that I found on it.
A British or Irish meat pie made with beef mince and with a crust made form mashed potato. It is called Shepherd’s Pie when lamb or mutton is used. Cottage pie is used with beef (but also historically with the scraps of pretty much any animal that might have been roaming about outside the cottage walls).
We both really loved this dish and I will definitely be making it again!

Bear Sleeping
My baby is resting now. Dr said his hips look good his teeth look awesome. She will call us tomorrow for results of his blood work. She said his spleen is a little enlarged, but she will know more from the blood tests.

My Baby Recuperating….
My awesome vet sent me this pic of my Baby to let me know all is well with him and he is recuperating and I can pick him up at 3:30!!!
My baby is going to sleep a lot tonight!!
I have his bedding and his food and water bowl all washed and ready for him when he gets home.

Small Update on My Baby Boy
Bear’s Dr. Called and told me his Platelets are a little on the low side. She is going to do a complete CBC on him to see what is going on. Depending on the results they may do what is called a tick panel on him to keep him safe from possible tick bites.
He has to lose about 15 pounds because of his signs of having some hip problems. Then she will re evaluate him and see if he needs any medicine for that. He’s getting x-rays done too.
My poor Boo Bear!! I will update when we get his blood work results back which I know won’t be today.

My Bear is Hungry!!!
My poor puppy is doing everything he can to try to get me to feed him!! In about 45 min he goes to the vet to see his favorite Dr. Angela. He really does like her a lot. Last night he got an extra small dish of food to help him get through the long hours of not being able to eat. We gave it to him early enough to not violate the cut off time.
He even walked into the laundry room where his food is stored! Like hey mommy here’s my food!!
He sat in my lap this morning trying hard to coax me! I’m not eating until we get back from dropping him off cuz a mama just can’t do that in front of her hungry baby boy!!

My Baby Boy Gone Tomorrow…..
I’m going to miss my baby tomorrow, he goes in to get his teeth cleaned, toe nails trimmed, ears cleaned, and see about some doggy arthritis medicine.
My house will be way too quiet without the pitter patter of doggy feet in my house! He is my shadow dog!!

I am up to season 5 of one of my favorite series (Columbo)! In this episode check out that old stove behind them! Pretty awesome!!!!
In one of the Columbo episodes it had the Lovely Gena Rowlands in it! She is so beautiful! She is a favorite actress of mine! I have always loved her voice too! Great talent!

Happy Thursday Wishes to Y’all!
Well we are having a great Thursday here! Yay my car passed DEQ and got my tags for another two years! The “Bear-wagon” is gooood to go! tee hee! See it is Bear’s van and he lets me use it!

My baby is getting gray. He has a birthday coming up, he will get new toys and a special doggy treat for his birthday!
