Blondie’s Kitchen Goodness…
I slow cooked pot roast and the fixings today and oh my gosh so yummy!!!! I used my big dutch oven and my little one as I did two small roasts! Wonderful meals for the rest of the week!

Leanne Cole’s Photography Book!
Yay my Leanne Cole’s photography book arrived and I love it! I have been following her blog for a long time and wanted her book!!!!! She does fantastic photography! My dream some day would be to travel to her country and be able to meet her!
Nostalgia ~ when I was a little girl my sister and I had rabbits foot for good luck! Humans have for a very long time believed in a vast and eclectic array of amulets, talismans and charms that may bring them good luck! In Europe the tradition of carrying a rabbit’s foot stems from ancient beliefs that humans descended from animals. A tribe worshiped its animal ancestor and carried parts of that animal as protective totems.
The Celts believe rabbits are good fortune. The lucky rabbit’s foot popped up around the turn of the 2oth Century in America.
For nostalgic purposes I have my lucky rabbit’s foot, (May not be so lucky for the rabbit missing the foot though) tee hee! just kidding!

Jasmine Rice with Spinach & Kielbasa….
I just whipped this up for my lunch tomorrow! My adopted Grandma Mary got me hooked on Jasmine Rice a long time ago! She has long been since deceased but every time I eat Jasmine Rice I think of her fondly!

Bear Is Back from the Vet…
My baby boy went to the vet this morning, he had a couple of growths removed and Dr. Angela says they looked fine and not cancerous! She said they are typical of what German Shepherds get as they get older. She trimmed his toenails and cleaned his ears.
She also prescribed an allergy med for him to try as she suspected he has allergies from the symptoms we described to her.
Bear was snarky with the receptionist and the vet tech as he is so protective of me. He usually isn’t that way too much at the vet with the female staff but he didn’t want them near him today!
They told me they can tell how much he loves Dr. Angela as he was giving her kisses on her face! She is so very gentle with him. She has two Shepherds herself and knows how to work with them!
My baby boy will be sleeping most of the afternoon recuperating! I am so happy he is ok!

Some Things Are NOT a Great Value! tee hee
I wanted small trash bags to carry in my work bag because I clean my cab windows and mirrors and use up a lot of paper towels and I like to empty the trash can for my relief operator so he has a nice empty can for his shift. Well I bought these bags from Walmart….
Now look at how stupidly little this is!!!! It won’t hold anything and it tears when you look at it! tee hee!
I showed it my friend Shawn at the end of the line and we were laughing so hard it brought tears to our eyes!
Sometimes it’s the best to stick with the brand name of products!!!! I rate this package a big ZERO!
