Happy Father’s Day……

Unfortunately I never got to meet my birth father as he has passed away. I always had a dream to have met him! I have a bond with him and I love him even though it wasn’t in the plan for me to have met him! From what I see he loved dogs as much as I do and cutsie ones just like me!!!!!!

I was raised by my step-grandfather and he was the best! He had a dry sense of humor and I could always tell he was joking because he would raise one eyebrow when he was teasing! I had a bond with my Grandpa! Brings tears to my eyes thinking about him!

I made a steak breakfast for hubby and he has a huge steak that will last him a couple days for his morning meals!

Happy Father’s day to all the dads out there, may your day be special!

I love this old Victorian made in Italianate Style and was built in 1885 and is now on the National Historic Registry!

This beautiful home that graces 99E is operated as a privately owned museum by appointment only!

I love old beauty like this! History in those walls!

Blondie’s Pasta/Veggie Creation…

I like making simple, fast lunch menu ideas! So for this weeks lunch menu, I Sautéd onion, mushrooms, broccoli in olive oil until tender. In the mean time I had whole grain elbow pasta cooking.

When el dente, drained and added to the vegetables. Added roasted bell peppers and a jar of Sun Dried Tomato Alfredo Sauce!

Tada! A very yummy simple dish for my lunch tomorrow!

Simple Chicken Marinara Dinner….

I wanted a very easy meal to fix, so I threw some frozen chicken breasts in the crock pot with a jar of Marinara sauce and some chicken broth for added juices! Whipped up some mashed potatoes and french bread and we had a very tasty dinner!

A Sunday Chuckle…..

I love dogs so much and just had to share this cute chuckle for you! Especially since I love German Shepherds and Poodles too!

I woke up this morning with a doozie of a headache and fighting to get it under control. Aspirin and heating pad is helping! I am just hoping it isn’t a migraine! I am going to see my primary care physician and have him write me a prescription for physical therapy for my shoulders. I want to build strength in them and I am hoping that will help alleviate migraines!!! After having had physical therapy on my knee I am impressed how well it did me!

Our yard is simple grass which is especially for Bear our German Shepherd! So on our walks we always stop and enjoy all the flowers and plants we see in other people’s yards! A treat for the eyes!
