I know this is an old school because I know someone who went there many moons ago!
This school was built in 1908. A group of women got together and planned it because they wanted a safer and close to home place for their kids to go to school instead of traveling to Concord and Park Place schools.
I hope that this school too doesn’t close just as Concord has. Sad pieced of history going bye bye in the neighborhood.

One of my regular passengers gave me a rose this morning and that really brightened my day! The weather was awesome. We had a crappy day at work in that overhead wire was damaged by a train that had problems. There were 4 of us doing circles on the yellow line which we had it nice because we were evenly spaced.
It was just one of those icky days where you just have to go with the flow. I got some overtime so I can’t complain too loudly! tee hee
Well time to wind down for bed and get ready to go at it again tomorrow!

It is so sad to see the death of a school. This has served the community for 160 years. So very sad! I stopped and took photos of the school before it is taken down or whatever they are going to do with the property.
